Bro. Ron is the founder and 'Chief Executive Artivist' of The W.E.A.L.L. B.E. Group, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to celebrating Memphis' rich cultural heritage from an African American perspective and promoting educational empowerment through Knowledge-of-Self enrichment projects. Among their projects are 'The National Fort Pillow Massacre Wreath Laying Ceremony' and 'The Jimmie Lunceford Jamboree Festival.'
He's also known for his thought-provoking interviews on the popular YouTube channel WEALLBETV, where he's engaged with iconoclastic figures like Baba Dick Gregory and Judge Joe Brown. Bro. Ron is a talented visual artist; you can explore his artwork at www.R2c2h2.com. And if that's not enough, he's a skilled trumpet and cornet player.
Bro. Ron is a proud alumnus of Shelby County Schools and their Creative And Performing Arts (CAPA) program at Overton High School. He's also a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis (WUSTL) with a B.F.A. degree and an alum of WUSTL's John B. Ervin Scholars Program. Notably, Bro. Ron holds an M.B.A. from Bethel University (2009).
